It is with much sadness that I say good bye to a dear friend, who left us far too soon. Rob was only part of our lives for a few short years, but he was such a great friend, always ready to do anything he could. I remember calling him around the time of Julie's funeral, asking if he could stop by my house and change the outside light bulb, because my in-laws would be staying with us and I was worried they wouldn't be able to see. He called me a while later and said that there was a problem with the light fixture and he wanted permission to let the electrician into the house so they could fix it. He always went above and beyond with everything, his job, his family and certainly his friends.
I will cherish the memories we have toghert and will never enjoy city council meetings as much. May you rest in peace, "Real Man."
